we didn't even know it was still in his system for that fight.
This is what I gather form the later part of the quote. When Roach says “still”, it looks like he was shock and expecting the steroid to leave the system by then. The man knew Toney was on steroid yet happily trained him
This is why Toney shouldn't be considered an all time great even though he may deserve to be in the HOF. This is a good point the TS brings up. All of Roach's fighters need to be looked at if we find out Pac is pulling any ****. Because that will make two of his fighters that got caught with it.
"James received medical treatment for recovery from his biceps and triceps surgery. His doctor has stated that the combination of medications used to control the inflammation and tissue growth caused the positive test result. This is further supported since the body, in combination with the medications, naturally creates the form of substance reflected in the test results. It is simply not true that James either tried to cheat or even cheated without knowing it."
James Toney also has a pituitary gland that doesn't produce the right amount testosterone due to brain damage. So the boost may in fact only put him on fair ground.
If that is actually true, Toney shouldn't be able to get a boxing license.
Amazing, *******s will duck this thread. Roach has a history of training steroid abuser and he knew that Toney was taking the Roids. What I find amazing, is Roach was disappointed that the drug was still in the system after the fight. This is why he doesn’t want a blood test close to the fight and he knew Toney was taking a steroid on a timer
Total speculation on your part, even though you try and pass it off as fact.
