having been in France for the past week with no TV, radio or internet, im just catching up on things and i was genuinely saddened to hear the news of Terry Lawless' death on Christmas eve.
A remarkable man and gifted trainer, having steered the careers of John H Stracy, Kirkland Laing, Frank Bruno and a young Joe Calzaghe (amongst many others) his death is a great loss to British, and indeed worldwide boxing.
Many he rest in eternal peace.
