    How Did B-Hop become such a skilled boxer in jail?

    I never really understood this? Did he have any amateur experience? I mean damn there aren't any trainers there, i don't think.

    He was in the amateurs before jail. He really matured and learned how to box because when he got out of jail, he went to Bouie Fisher and begged him to teach him.

      Thanks, sorry for my ignorance but i had never read anything about him being an amateur.

          Because Hopkins dedicated his life to boxing right when he hit prison. Stopped smoking drinking, and trained trained trained. Got out, when to Fisher and listened and trained trained trained.
