Well Martinez isnt known as a puncher at 160. Pavlik is. And dont act like Williams wont get hit cleanly many times vs Pavlik.

Going from Martinez to Pavlik is a downgrade. Pavlik to Williams is a tune-up fight compared to the problems Martinez presented to Williams.

In conclusion, this leads me to believe that only slick southpaws will have a chance at beating Williams.

Williams got a lot of exposure in the Martinez fight, I bet hes gonna chase a different payday now.

The only way that I see it as total ducking is if Williams fights an opponent that's a total bum in his next fight. The TS seems like a detractor of Paul Williams and an apologist of Kelly Pavlik. He makes it pretty obvious in his posts. With Williams getting screwed over with his training and having to adjust because of Pavlik pulling out, how can you blame him if he tells Pavlik to go piss up a rope? If Paul is gonna pursue the fight he needs to be a little reasonable about the money since Pavlik is still the champ though.
