Not quite the one we wanted (right?), but a good fight nonetheless. I can't pick 'em for this one. All 3 guys are good, and any combination should automatically produce a barnstorming fight.

Martinez, Pavlik and Williams all need to fight each other at least once in '10.

It's not that he's undisputed champion as much as it is that he's 10x the bigger draw than Williams. 50-50 is illogical. They should be thrilled with 55-45, which probably won't happen either.

You are dead on about the "most avoided" label, too.

Martinez has too much movement for Pavlik. If this fight happens I'm taking bets after Pacquiao-Mayweather(of course that fight will happen so don't even ask).

I'll be looking for a big bet in this fight, an all of points type of bet, probably close to 3million points. Martinez over Pavlik.

What right do they have to demand that.

pavlik pulled out, sure, but he clearly had a legitimate injury.

pavlik is the one bringing the money AND he is the champ

I agree with that. Martinez is just too small. It would be a very ugly fight as well. Martinez winning early but clinching and muggin as the fight gets older.

            Bad fight.

Pavlik is doing the right thing here, because this is gonna give him some leverage and now it looks like Williams is just being ****** by not accepting the fight under the original conditions even though I didn't think so at first. I'm just suprised that Pavlik has the guts to fight this guy because not only is he slick, but he's a Southpaw on top of it. Williams better come back to his senses.

based on styles and size, this will be a harder fight for martinez than williams was. williams frame is smaller than pavliks. pavlik will be able to impose his physicality on martinez unlike williams was able to do. i expect pavlik to wear martinez down and win a somewhat close but clear decision. and a possibility of a TKO/KO.

I hope Martinez shcools the **** out of Pavlik though because he's been a disgrace. Him taking this fight doesn't change the fact that he **** on the Super Six and ducked Abraham.

Cintron is a hard puncher, and Martinez never got hurt by him. But Cintron never hit him with authority and acted scared of him too. So we'll just have to see what happens.
