So we are over-rating Margarito huh?

What Zab is going to ko Margarito because he ko'd spinks?
Spinks is a good boxer but anyone with sense can see that Cory wasnt on his game at all! He was barely moving let alone slipping and doing his norm.

Still it takes Judah 9 rounds to ko someone with no pop whatsoever.

Take a look at Judah's last 5 fights and besides the last with Spinks, you tell me why I'm supposed to be impressed.

Was it the Corley split decision?
    the Spinks loss?
Wait..it must have been the one point, ONE POINT victory of Rafael Pineda!
Or no, my bad, must have been the 1rd ko over Wayne Martel. He was on his way to a title shot you know? lol
Yeah, he ko'd Spinks the 2nd time around.

Out of those 5 fights, not one of them had a punch.
With Margarito, at the least, Judah is going to have to take one to give one.

And we all know how well Judah takes it.

Yeah, that's a good point. If Zab can keep moving and boxing I think it will be close. But does Zab have that focus to fight a complete fight? I honestly would say no.

I've been thinking about it and I can't seem to figure out way mayorga wasn't able to KO spinks but judah was. We all know mayorga has power but was it judahs boxing ability and quickness that allowed him to get to spinks? Or was it just the case that mayorga was easy for spink to box?

          Simple...

Look at the Cory Spinks that fought Ricardo Mayorga.

Spinks did fight the perfect fight. Ducking, slipping, scoring with pitty-pat punches. My hat's off to him. (even though I think he went down a couple times to escape a clubbing punch) He did fight smart and moved extremely well.

Even in the first Judah fight, he was flicking the jab, moving and imposing himself on Zab.

If you watch the second Judah fight you can easily see that he was very sluggish and just off his game. That cory Spinks isn't hard to beat seeing how he doesn't have a punch to even keep someone at bay.

Yes he would have. Plus Spinks fell a couple times to escape a punch but the ref just ruled them as slips.
But Spinks did fight a great fight. I was impressed. Very dissapointed, but impressed.
