How does a young fighter in his prime find himself relatively inactive, it's not as if he didn't have many options available to him, in fact quite the opposite he chose the lesser challenges in favor of money over legacy.
On November 19, 2005, Mayweather fought a non-title bout at 147 lb against welterweight Sharmba Mitchell. Since then he hasn't faced Cotto,Mosley or Margarito, PWill, Berto and anyone else with a pulse. Floyd was flogged for not fighting Baldomir first because Baldomir earned the opportunity and deserved the shot more than an underachiever in Zab Judah, not because Baldomir was some otherworldly talent.
You said Floyd wouldn't fight Pwill or anyone like that after 2 years, listen newsflash he wouldn't have fought then had he still been an active fighter and not retired anyway. It's one thing to respect and admire a man's talent, it's quite another to over-exaggerate their accomplishments.
The only point you've proven is that your boy fights for money taking lesser challenges in the process.
