unless his trainer hits pacquiao with a stool from behind......nothing will stop pacquiao from handing out a beating.

even with the loss to mayweather by marquez , i think marquez 3 would be more marketable that malignaggi.

if he's not gonna take a risk because of a possible mayweather rematch , hell might as well take a real no hoper and have it in philippines for his filipino fans and just put it on regular hbo.
As I said, it's not a risky fight but it's marketable and you know Malignaggi's trash talking will get some people interested in this fight.

Maybe but I think Marquez is now perceived as an aging fighter ripe for the taking by a younger guy and as I said, Pacquiao would insist on having the fight at 140 so there would still be criticism there. And Marquez is a tougher stylistic matchup no matter what people might say about him being on the slide.

Again, there's not enough money for Pacquiao to take that kind of fight, he wants the big bucks now, he's also a guy who likes to make that cash. HBO won't go over to the Philippines, the expenses are too high and the time difference would be too much. They couldn't even do a show in Puerto Rico between Juanma and Luevano, you think they can do a show halfway around the world?

well i don't mind if he gets a safe bet tuneup but if it is i just hope it's on regular hbo.

but if the goal is just to keep busy in preparation for mayweather.

go grab a real tuneup type fighter , hold it at home depot center in carson , put it on regular hbo and not ppv and sell the tickets at low prices. call it a fight for his fans. like delahoya-forbes. hell fight forbes.

do a bunch of blood tests and crap before the fight too for PR purposes.

they were actually gonna do one a long , long time ago.

obviously pac doesn't have the $$$$$ demands he does now and the economy and hbo's wallet was much healthier then.
