Everybody thought the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight will be a difficult fight to negotiate particularly on the issue of purse split considering Floyd's early pronouncements he wouldn't agree to something less than 60/40 in his favor. But lo and behold, everybody was surprised Floyd immediately agreed to a 50-50 split! And then when everything seems to be all systems go for the biggest fight in a decade on March 13th, surprise, surprise! Floyd is not done yet and has something up his sleeve to scuttle the fight and blame it on his opponent.
Now it is slowly being revealed that Floyd's turn around from a ducker to finally trying to man up and face a legit champion with a shot of giving him his first defeat was all posturing. He made it look like he was not ducking Pacquiao and instead pin the blame on Manny for being a PED user and refusing to take a drug test on their terms. Despite Pac's willingness to do a blood test 30 days before the fight and immediately after, Floyd wouldn't compromise and insisted on his terms even when there is absolutely no evidence of Pacquiao taking any PEDs before.
The public has been duped once again by Floyd. Again, Floyd consistently shows how he ducks all fighters that is threatening to him, from having many losses on their records, to can't sell a fight, to retiring from the sport only to comeback to face a small 36 yr old while disregarding the fight contract to get an undue weight advantage, to accusing his opponent of being a steroid user.
Pacquiao has brought back the luster to the sport with his mega fights and exciting performances. Floyd has come back and tries to destroy it because he is no longer P4P King and doesn't look like he is brave enough to risk a fight with the best in the sport.
Floyd put a one up on JMM, now he is trying to do the same with Manny. Manny doesn't bad mouth his opponents but shows his respect before and after each fight. Manny doesn't fight dirty. Manny will risk life and limb to make fights exciting. Manny is a beast in training to give a fine performance for the fans and for his country. Manny got all his victories the hard way. Manny is not a cheater. Manny deserves his status as #1 Pound for Pound without any doubts.
Enough of the greedy schemers and liars in professional boxing. Boxing is better off with a retired for good Mayweather.
