Manny is NOT against Drug Testing

He just does not want to be subject to needles going in his arms at random times which could disrupt intense training plans and sessions. Nor does he want needles going into his arms moments before the fight. I wouldn't either. My job requires me to undergo periodic blood tests, as well as physical fitness exams. To tell you the truth, on the days I get blood drawn, I don't work out. I get a qualmish feeling at the thought of swelling my veins with blood (during intense exercise) right after having a needle pushed through one of them.

So I can understand Manny not wanting to undergo random blood tests during training or moments before the fight. Again, he's NOT against drug testing. Furthermore, he's agreed to having blood drawn, but in a more controlled manner. What he is against is the way Mayweather wants the tests to be administered. It is a mental thing and Floyd knows this. Floyd's just trying to create as many disruptions as possible to gain any advantage possible or look for a way out of the fight. Well, it looks like he's succeeded with the latter.

It's rather frustrating to try to make this point on a forum filled with so many simple minded idiots. To see posts like "Just take the test" or "He'll always be questioned now" makes me wonder about the simpletons we have in NSB. You all are more like WWE fans, with no ability to think logically. If Manny agreed to this crap, then Floyd would just come up with some other bull**** and you all know it. Manny had to draw the line somewhere and I applaud him for finally pulling the plug on Floyd and his *****s.

Please, more excuses and bull****. I wonder why guys like Lance Armstrong, Kobe Bryant (admitted Pac fan), Kevin Garnett (admitted Pac fan), Lebron James, and the thousands of other athletes who have undergone OST aren't coming to Pac's defense?

It's mostly filipinos, filipino-americans, pac nuthuggers, and floyd haters that keep droning on and on about one thing after another and trying to avoid the bottomline.

Bottomline: Your boy won't submit to the most stringent testing policy out there and he's got no good reason for doing so. Other athletes undergo the same testing and they have no problems setting world records while doing so.

Bottom line is that OST is not a requirement in Professional Boxing. The State Commission's tests are. They've been successful for decades and now Floyd wants to add stipulations to the contract for this fight? Why? Manny has never, in any way been known to use illegal substances. Sounds to me like Floyd is scared. If he really wanted to fight, he'd do so under the conditions that he's always fought under in the past.

That's on Floyd. Manny doesn't want to and the test is not a requirement of the NSAC. And that's the bottom line. If Floyd wants the fight he'd fight under the State Commissions standards. Simple as that.

because you can easily get around the traditional drug tests at this day and age,

dont act ignorant and assume that if he was using steroids he would be caught by the traditional drug tests, the drugs he is accused of taking are specifically designed to get around drug tests

had it not been for a leak at balco
shane moseley and vargas would have never gotten caught
they were both using steroids submitting to the normal drug testing

there is no way to spin this one, mayweather would be subject to the same testing, theres no advantage

im not saying that pacquiao is using steroids, but if he doesnt subject to these tests at this point, its going to be like he had

OK, enlighten us Doc. What specific drugs is he accused of using and which specific tests is the drug designed to "pass"?

Get over this **** already. Manny is clean. Floyd don't want to fight. That was clear before he started with this whole OST thing. He finally found one that would get him out of the fight. Manny don't need this ****. Basically it's like this. Manny don't need Floyd. Floyd needs Manny. And if Floyd really wants the fight, he'll do it under the NSAC rules. End of Story.
