If people are supposedly backing this because it's so great for the sport, how come they never said anything about it prior to now? Nobody on this forum was asking for Olympic testing before this fight, nor were the Mayweathers. Now all of a sudden testing is the best thing for the sport. GTFOH.

Everyone is all bent out of shape on this whole testing thing... Im a moneymay fan before pac and still believe that Floyd will win but Pac is clearly winning at this point even before the fight date. One, Manny is getting his rest (requested vacation mentioned from his post fight interviews). Two, if this does go to court Manny will get millions anyways if he wins and this is without stepping in the ring. Third, this is just what Pacs camp and advisors are telling him, to get rest, get money without fighting, and go run for politics. Just funny how both FMJ and Pac know there is no other fight with a bigger purse than this but both having problems getting the deal done.

Pacs won the case its just about how much LESS money mayweather will be? If Pac dont get money compensation will it be a jail sentence?

Senior said he dont want his son to fight Pac, implying Pac was on roids, which is the same as accusing someone of being on roids. Which is the whole points of asking for the tests in the first place.

But the Mayweathers are trying to twist it now, saying they are asking for the tests for the good of boxing ****!!!
Well they didnt play martyrs when they fought DLH or Hatton did they?

My thoughts on the present debate:

I would like to say that I have recently lost all respect for Mayweather fans. However, the truth is that I really didn't have much to lose to begin with, even before this whole fiasco.

I wish these guys would realize how ****** they sound with their constant literary ****sucking of their idol Floyd, but they are far too biased and irrational, not to mention idiotic, to present any sort of argument which does not blatantly amount to one-sided, apologetic nonsense.

Hell, there was a time when I was actually a big fan of Floyd, however he has done nothing but tarnish his legacy in recent years through his antics and actions both inside and outside of the sport of boxing.

As far as his boxing career goes, I have one thing to say: JLC destroyed the frail man's confidence. He has not stepped up to one legitimate challenge since.

At the time of their first fight, JLC was the legitimate LW champion, and I don't give a **** what any of you Floyd cum guzzlers say, Floyd got worked over that night. I'm generally a firm believer that decisions stand (except in rare circumstances such as Augustus-Burton, but that's another story), but suffice to say that I did not agree with the judge's tally on that night. In any case, Castillo gave Floyd a working over that night, and at the very least, came extremely close to handing him a loss.

Now, Floyd certainly gets credit for giving Castillo an immediate rematch, and winning clearly, the second time around. In this light, he deserved the benefit of the doubt for the first fight: everyone has an off night, and the judges had rendered him the victor, after all. He came back and proved he could beat JLC in the second fight.

The problem is that this represents the last legitimate challenge which Floyd has taken in his career.

There's actually one exception of note: Dela Hoya was also a threat, indeed he even carried one scorecard in that fight. The difference is that this fight was all about money, and Floyd had been chasing DLH for years to that point. So perhaps Floyd deserves credit for this fight as well; however, given the amount of money on the table it made sense.

Additionally, there wasn't much basis for the fight aside from money, being that DLH was a JMW and Floyd had never fought at the weight.

This gets into the final point: Floyd is a sideshow fighter. He claims to be the best in boxing, yet he hand picks his opponents; er go he is not a sportsman, he is merely a sideshow. In hand picking his opponents (post JLC), he has in effect picked and chosen his challenges, often opting for the easy rout.

In closing, Mayweather fans can collectively go **** themselves

This mind game of the Mayweathers will fireback to them, I always mention in here that Sr. is out of his mind , twisted mind i said that in my opinion, Hes constant attack to manny on roid is a very disrespectful not only to manny but to the Nevada Athletic Commision, They should file against to the Mayweathers.

                Some of what they said,

                “Floyd Mayweather Sr.:

"I don't think he can beat Lil' Floyd with steroids in him or not." (Grand Rapids Press)

"Man, that guy is on something. There's no way in the world he's going to be walking back a big man like that...I know Floyd is the best, but when your opponent uses something illegal, even the best can get hurt." (Sports Illustrated)

Now, I say to Floyd Mayweather Jr., don’t be a coward and face me in the ring, mano-a-mano and shut your big, pretty mouth, so we can show the world who is the true king of the ring," said Pacquiao.

This article sums up alot of things about the MAYWEATHER CAMP. They are trying to throw PACQUIAO off with false allegations to counter (PACQUIAO should pursue the lawsuit regardless what happens with this fight, the possibility of the MAYWEATHERS AND GBP paying up would be a treat for PACQUIAO and a distraction for the GAYWEATHERS) Second of all, they are using this as an ALIBI just in case GAYWEATHER loses to PACQUIAO, and finally GAYWEATHER knows that he can hurt PACQUIAO, who would be pressuring him to fight for every minute of every round (unlike everyone else that GAYWEATHER has fought). Bottomline is that MAYWEATHER knows that PACQUIAO will not stop unlike the others and for him to stop attacking, GAYWEATHER needs to KNOCK HIM OUT which I don't see happening.

THIS IS WHERE THE REAL FIGHT IS NOW FOR THESE TWO, this is where it gets real, this is where the chance for due diligence gets exercised and all the FACTS get sorted out.

what is mayweather going to come to court with? " um, your honor, he's beaten guys in more stunning fashion than me. my dad think's he's on steroids. only i your honor can move up in weight and win." get real, all the crap that the mayweathers have brought up will never hold up in court, unless they can get physical evidence of needles, vials, purchases, etc, which they can't, all they have are self contrived rumors, at least at this point, anything can happen, but as of this moment, unless you bring facts to the table, pacquiao is innocent, point blank!

court is where you go in this case for pacquiao, to set the record straight, i believe more now than ever that pacquiao has nothing to hide, when he's inviting in a full scale investigation into his life with this lawsuit......
mayweather is going to get laughed out of court if he/they can't produce any facts.

i also think it's great because, here mayweather is trying to muck things up because of the weight issue and the penalty, so he goes for this steroid accusation, but pacquiao is one upping mayweather again with the lawsuit, which really puts mayweather and his team with the backs against the wall.

"come with a fist, he comes with a bat, come with a knife, he comes with a gun, come with a gun, you better kill him because he will never stop. "

i like the one upping by pacquiao in how this is playing out.
                      well put, juice!
