So what do you think Mr. Mayweather Sr. huh? as an author of mind stirring comment that shocked the world of boxing and its fanatics. You can now be compared to a famous author like Dan Brown, You marketed your story and evryone buys it.. But the only thing you differ with them is that they dont write story the way you do because of hatred and jealous to someones achievement and the thing is, soon you will be facing the court and will proved the authenticity of your story in the whole world...so goodluck to you and the people who supported you to make this book saleable!!!

Team Mayweather is simply showing their true color and double standard. They admitted will not require this test to other fighters.
Pacquiao has been certified by the State commission as drug free and clean for all his last fights in Nevada. Just like all of them. What more do you want?
Floyd Mayweather as a champion is deemed questionable and tainted if he insist on this non-sense drug testing (out of commission). And if he doesn't believe the current testing by the professional boxing commission (State Commission) is enough. He should vacate his belt now. This also applies to Delahoya and all the boxing champions and greats the world has ever produced. Mayweather simply don't want to fight Manny.
Yes, They are really a bunch of Hypocrites.:wank::wank::wank::wank:

A man stands to mke over $40 million in one night, but suddenly fels offended about Olympic style drug testing. Not looking at the names, just at the sport like any other, those who actually participate in sports know that urine test is not so diffucult to cheat, from removing the urine with a catether and inserting water or clean urine (ask bodybuilders) to cleaning the system beforehand to even damaging the sample with other products ingested. And even without that, look at cases like Sugar Shane Mosley. When did he test positive? Yet he admitted to using performance enhancinf substances. You have all these other sports that dont pay a fraction in a lifetime of competition of what Manny stands to do that night, and they are subjected to Olympic Style ramdom testing, and Manny can't do it for one fight? For a guaranteed $25 milliom plus sponsors plus PPV? I was a fan of Manny. But he is an ambassador of the sport, and if he cant man up and show the world hes for real, he is casting doubt upon himself and the sport. If hes clean, just prove it. If not, go join Mosley, Vargas, Margarito, Luis Resto, Chavez junior and the rest of the cheaters. He honestly cant expect the fans to beleive the needle story and that a mere sample of blood leaves you weakened. If that were the case, how come Lance Armstrong had to give samples almost every day in competition and still won 7 tour de France? The needle story sounds like the Arum bitchin when Margarito got caught.

Mark Vester : I ask this. Why is Pacquiao, who never failed a single drug test or had any BALCO scandal hanging over his head, being treated like a cheater?

Originally posted by hanson7 View PostSome info on HGH (from online medical sources): HGH taken alone is actually ineffective in enhancing performance. What the studies show is that HGH can only be effective when it is taken in conjunction with anabolic steroids (i.e. steriods can be detected by urine testing). This means that in order to get the maximum effect an athlete must take both at the same time. The trouble with this fact is that as mentioned earlier anabolic steroids can easily be detected, and with a simple urine test you can already get caught. The information campaign could also lay some emphasis on the possible risks and side effects that can result from too much intake of HGH. Some of these are acromelagy, which in layman's terms is gigantism, increased risk of diabetes, swelling of joints, edema, being more prone to different types of cancer and many others. If this can be done then it would probably dissuade athletes from even thinking about taking HGH.
Bottom line: Some boxing writers right now (not mentioning Colin here) are trying to say a "one way street" on HGH, however, if you look at the medical facts . . its not "conclusive" and likely much is to be learned and studied about these drugs. However, No amount of drugs will (1) improve your skills and strategy in the ring e.g. if this drug made everybody smarter or gave them a new fountain of skills, everybody will be using it!; (2) the idea of bulking up, c'mon - PacMan is known and recognize for his "speed", not his bulk body or armor muscles. If you ask me, bulking up, would actually sacrifice your speed . . so isn't this an anti-thesis of the Pacquiao fast machine; (3) in this high stakes negotiation where each side attempts to get the better deal i.e. Mayweather's request was answered "half-way" by Pacquiao - 3 blood tests (after fight announcement, before 30 days and just after the fight), these blood tests are not required for professional/competitive boxing in Nevada (Las Vegas), but Pacquiao offered this. The test just after the fight, should provide conclusive and reliable evidence that meet Olympic standards if Pac took anything! (these drugs stay in the body at least a week, depending of quantity taken); (4) Let's take a look at the messenger of this "unsubstantiated allegations" - Mayweathers camp - goodness! these guys are not the bastion of honesty and purity, heck, they could produce a reality series with their numerous court cases, run-ins with the law, tax problems, what have you.
We don't know whether this fight will push through or not . . However, the ascent of Manny to the top of the boxing world was duly documented in 24/7/media outlets/stories that show: (a) Manny took long hours in the gym, working on a strategy, improving his right hand to be as good as the left hand i.e. if this guy was really on super-performance drugs - why waste too many hours in the gym when you have super strength? why improve your right hand, when with the aid of this wonder drug, all you need is an ultra-power left?; (b) Manny has not shown the behavior of a guy in super-drugs who is all "about me . . me . . i can do this easily". Instead, if you ask Manny - he will just say - "I will try my best to do well, hopefully to win for the Filipino people" or "give God glory". I have not heard any of those humble words from all the drug convicted top athletes; and (c) Finally, no amount of "Mayweather or his minions propaganda" nor articles from writers that quick to judge on unwarranted accusations - - Society and the fans (casual/hard-core) will collectively in its wisdom make their own decisions - and vote empathically with their wallets (e.g. PPV/gate attendance). That will be the definitive statement!.

Pacquiao had incredible stamina even during the first MAB fight when he was a featherweight. His work ethic was already talked about then and has always been a wonder to people who witness it including sparring partners, trainers, promoters and media. NO SUDDEN CHANGE IN PHYSICAL CAPACITY OR WORK ETHIC FOR PACQUIAO TO SUSPECT ARTIFICIAL HELP. As early as one of the Morales fights at 130 he was weighing more than 140 at fight night. Would have been unwise for him to take supplements that would make it harder for him to lose weight.
In general, blood allows you to measure the amount of a drug in the system (quantitative), but urine alone can tell you the presence of a drug (qualitative). There are tricks in detection, but just like computer viruses, those potentially could be manufactured for both blood or urine. That is why Lance Armstrong, the "most tested" athlete who has always tested negative, is still thought to have cheated, fair or not. Tests have their limits. You need to look at the complete picture. If a woman has huge muscles, masculine facial hair, chest hair, low voice, basically looks and sounds like a man, and tests negative for steroids even in blood, then you don't just think she is clean. For Manny, he just has grown naturally with age and better nutrition and has dehydration at his disposal to make weight to be successful in climbing weight classes. JUST LIKE WHAT HENRY ARMSTRONG DID HALF A CENTURY AGO. Just like what Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns did decades ago. As well as more recent multiple weight champions like Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Paul Williams, etc. And yes, accusers Mayweather and DelaHoya too. Nothing extraordinary to what Pac has accomplished, except that he has done it the best. Maybe because he just really is the best.
