this is such a sad situation. i was watching sportscenter & i saw the kobe & lebron commercial & i cant help but feel bad for the sport of boxing.

Boxing was on the upswing with pac's victory over cotto & the announcement of pac vs mayweather, this was suppose to be boxing's awakening. This was suppose to be boxing's renaissance.


Watching that kobe & lebron commercial, i just imagined a pacquiao mayweather commercial, two boxing superstars kicking the door wideopen & say make room for us. We are here, we are great at our job, & we are special fighters, & saying hello to the mainstream that will eventually & truly save the sport of boxing.......




Instead, one man's spitefulness, bitterness, jealousy, cruel heartedness destroyed all of that. This was supppose to be a special time. The fight should have been announced before or during christmas time & the fight would ride a crest wave of great anticipation......



Instead we have baseless unfounded steroid accusation. Lawyers are now involved & slanderous litigation will subsequently follow. The greatest fight of our era, our ali v frazier, our leonard v duran is slowly being dragged through the mud.


This is a de****able act by the mayweathers. Boxing history will not be kind to them.

A: The existence of drug tests guarantees the legitimacy of a persons career. If all drugs are not tested for, than what is the point to having tests? Thats why A Olympic test is being asked for by Floyd.

Personally as a Pac fan im happy that he has the chance to show hes legit, however Pac fans act scared that Pac won't pass. Admit it, if you had the utmost confidence Pac was clean, you would want him to be tested just to show what a phenomenal athlete he is.

These test are manditory in many other sports, why? Because people will do whatever it takes to be better. That includes using their brains for 2 seconds and getting drugs that aren't tested for. The fact that hes passed every test thrown at him before, but NOW since they will test for everything he declines, is the most su****ious part of the ordeal.




B: In order to duck a fight, Floyd would have to disagree to the contract. Who has accepted the contract? Floyd. Who has declined? Pacquiao. So you say Floyd used the drug test to get out of the fight? How did Floyd know Pac wouldn't do a drug test??? Please care to explain.





C. Reminder the Mayweathers agreed to the largest fight of the past decade. Decorated and established FOTD has declined the fight which offers him a $40million purse, in favor for a $3Mil Malinaggi fight because of a full drug test. So tell me who is holding back the fight?




No one deserves to be hated on, but in this situation, where EVERYTHING is pointing towards a Pacquiao scandal you still blame Mayweather? first off theres nothing in the rule of boxing what team floyd was demanding, do you agree on that? you should because thats a fact.
second, they were insinuating pacquiao is using steroid or peds or hgh, they want his blood examined instead of just the usual urine test conducted by NSC. team pacman agreed.
team floyd demanded that instead of the NSC it should be the USADA which is conducting testing with amateurs. pacquiao agreed.

Wow. Great post and you posted truth. If Floyd denied the testing this dude would already have made about 6 to 7 threads. But its Manny show he blame shifts like a lot of other ppl have done. Instead of asking why Manny should have to subject to these tests they should be begging Manny to do it to show that he is CLEAN AS A WHISTLE.
