Was Barrera-Morales I really THAT good?

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, but Ian Darke just said on SKY that it was the best boxing match ever screened on SKY Sports. THAT good?

Saw the third bout just now on day delay, SKY. I thought the judging was pretty good, a draw would have been acceptable but Barrera just edged it for me.

What really made the fight for me was Larry Merchant afterwards. Sometimes his rudeness just grates, but did you see the p***ed-off look on his face every time he had to wait for the interpreter to translate his questions? Hilarious!

Yes, it was that good. It was better than Gatti-Ward I, imo. It had just as much action, if not more, but at a championship level, for 12 rounds, with a mexican rivalry mixed in.

It's easily one of the best ever. All the skill yet the brutality involved was incredible.

I think the third one was as good if not better than the first. My opinion.
