The only fights I wanna see Pavlik in are either against Williams or Martinez.

I guess I'm willing to give Pavlik a little bit of the benefit of the doubt if he's really healthy. I still find it awfully weird that he was on a death bed when he pulled out of the fight with Williams but fought Espino just two weeks later. I say he deserves one more chance, but if he pulls any bull**** this time then he deserves nothing.

I wonder if Top Rank was pulling Williams' chain all along to mess up Goosen and Haymon's HBO schedule. I don't like any of these promoters and I am not a conspiracy theorist. But I find it awfully funny that whenever there's a fight between a Haymon and an Arum fighter that's talked about or on the table it falls apart all the time. Case in point. The Pac-Mayweather fight. Clottey turning down Williams because of not being happy with the money. This is an occuring pattern.

there have been numerous articles on how pavliks team told williams they wanted 2 more weeks, and the fight would go on...wills team refused, and moved on, thus pavlik fighting espino in order to keep his straps. common knowledge.

Williams couldn't have fought Pavlik two weeks later though because HBO wasn't willing to televise it on that date. I said in my other post that Pavlik deserves another chance. The split maybe should go two more percent in Paul's favor for a little bit of compensation for lost money on expenses and that's that.

I would like Pavlik vs. Sturm. I want Sturm to get knocked out.
