Yeah, I said it. You notice of how he always is going after a weak opponent now? I can see of why he fought Pavlik because everybody was demanding that Joe Calzaghe fight him and Dawson didn't look very good when he beat Glen Johnson controversially and Pavlik was a media darling and supposedly the heir apparent of Bernard Hopkins himself. And plus Hopkins did go down a few pounds to meet him at 170, so credit where credit is due.
But what's this **** about going after these guys like Danny Green and David Haye? First of all, David Haye is one of the most overrated fighters there is even though there's plenty of people that can't stand him as it is. The only guy he beat was a chinny ass Enzo and he left the division without fighting Adamek and Cunningham who both would've beaten him in my opinion. And now James Toney has called him out and Hopkins don't want none. If he doesn't want to fight Dawson because he's not a big draw, then fine. But why not revisit the negotiations with Adamek or fight Cunningham in an all Philly showdown? It's because he knows those guys stand a chance of beating him. That's why.
