I thought this would be an 80-20 for bhop. A 70-30 would be hooking up green. 60-40 bhop is just being generous. A 50-50, get off da crack pripe green and shaw!!! Before jones I never even heard of green. Neither did my friends and we follow boxing pretty well.

When Hopkins fights a can, it's on some obscure channel Versus in America.

Danny Green in Australia>Hopkins in America
Danny Green should get more of the split, let alone the 50/50 he agreed too.
I actually kinda agree with this, especially if Green's presence brings in the most money. I believe Hopkins will settle for 50%, once he realizes how much money 50% is he will do it. Its not about the percentage but the money that the percentage is.

Green is the bigger draw. Borenard Hopkins brings nothing to the table.
Green should get most of the money.

Who the hell is Danny Green to be demanding parity with a legend like Hopkins?

I don't even want to see this fight. Hopefully it dies.

You would know of Green now after what he did to RJ

I backed Green to Ko RJ on the night as you only have to look at how both trained for the fight..RJ's training looked soft and so did those flick out jabs he does with no guard up it had to happen.KO

Greens very TOUGH and is a powerful puncher (Both Hands) and is now fighting at his correct weight.

He's super fit and healthy and is at he's BEST for a young 36 yr old.

              Let's be REAL...

Green will do the same to BH (KO) as BH also is past it ...Too old!!!!!

Lets all hope they dont come to an agreement. Id rather see Hopkins fight Dawson or James Toney anyways.

Green talks about beating legends well the only legend willing to fight this guy is bhop, so either he gives bhop 60/40 or he can go fight for chump change
                  thats ****in' right!!!

Everythinng was ready to go, the problem was that HBO was not willing to release their 2010 budget at the time and could not confirm the fight. The fight was in limbo. Roy jones started chattering about hopkins, and Adameks people wanted him to make some money against Golota. Adamek chose Golota, and rightfully so as he made some good money. Hopkins no longer had a dance partner, then agreed in principle to fight jones and the rest is history.

So you're incorrect - hopkins was serious about adamek, offered 60/40 which adamek agreed to but HBO could not and would not confirm the fight because they coudln't have their 2010 budget laid out in time (and unfortunately for us, hbo had a lot of budget cuts out of boxing).
Toney:It was Hopkins who pulled out of this fight. He calls Toney out Toney agreed, the terms were drawn up and agreed on and on the day the contracts were to be signed Hopkins complains about money and refuses to sign. Hopkins walked away from 3m, this is the same Hopkins who got paid 200k for his mandatory fights in partially filled venues.

Jones: I was talking about the fight taking place back in the early 2000's. 60/40 was Jones agreement, Hopkins demanded 50-50. How can Hopkins who is not a draw, who has already lost to Jones and who was challenging for Jones belt demand 50-50? He would go on to fight Hakkar for around 200k.

Ademek:You should read what Ademek and his Manager have to say on the matter.

As for Maskev, Dawson and Haye none of these fights will happen, when in Hopkins entire career has he fought a bigger opponent? Now you may mention Tarver, but wasn't Hopkins pro debut at lhw, he was merely returning to his original weight class. Also at that stage of his career he had to move up he was struggling to make mw and had no belts what other options did he really have?

He has to call out the bigger guys in order to 'hide' the fact that he likes to fight smaller opponents than himself. His lhw reign. proves my point 4 straight blown ups and now his talking about fighting Lucian Bute.

He has never been a draw and never will be. Just because you have a solid resume doesn't mean you deserve solid money. At this point Green can fight anyone and make big money in Australia so in reality he is doing Hopkins a favor by even fighting him.
Wtf are you talking about? Are you saying Howards Eastman, Jermaine Taylor, and Winky Wright were the draws in their Hopkins fight which all grossed a lot of money. Get out of here with that trash Green demanding 60 percent? No one has made more than Hopkins in a fight since Oscar and you think Hopkins should take the smaller slice of the pie off this scrub when he has made more than the last 4 hall of famers he has faced?

Also homie Hopkins was set to make a lot more than 3 million against Adamek. Its the Dawson fight where he wa soffered three million.
