BoxingScene.com was informed that Marcos Maidana has turned down a fight with WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander. Maidana, the WBA's interim-champion, has made a decision to pursue the WBA's full champion Amir Khan. From what I hear, and it's no surprise, Maidana's team is going to approach the sanctioning body to force the Khan fight. I liked the Maidana-Alexander fight better because I don't think Urango is a good fighter. But if this gets Khan to man up then I'm all for it. I think Maidana is making a miscalculation though because Khan is gonna vacate the title before he gets in the ring with Maidana. Maybe not if HBO lays their foot down with him. Hopefully they still have their no more mismatch policy in effect. -

Maidana would make more money fighting Khan and am glad he turn Alexander down, Like he said after beating Victor Ortiz "Khan" would be easy, So let see what Frank warren does now.Comment
