Quite the contrary.
Morales 1 =demanded Winning gloves and blood test (NON 100% Pac)
Oscar = demanded fight be 147, 3 weightclass above Pac's weightclass at SF. (NON 100% pac)
Cotto = Pac moved up 1 weightclass from 140. 1 year before he was a lightweight. (NON 100% Pac)

These are not ordinary circumstances. With all these rumours being perpetuated I don't think it's unreasonable of Mayweather's camp to go the extra mile to make sure everything's legit. Urine tests are well known to be ineffectual in the detection of most modern performance enhancers. Even blood and hair follicle tests are not infallible - hence why they implement the random testing system for the highest competitions.
Personally I think Pacquiao is only as likely to be cheating as anyone else at the pinnacle of boxing is, but that this testing system should be standardised in pro boxing for the good of the sport, full stop. Golden Boy and Mayweather's intentions may have been self serving but I think we could take a leaf out of their book for the betterment of the sport.Last edited by S.G.; 12-24-2009, 02:11 PM.Comment
