Nard is going to Toy with Taylor.

Hops can fight however he chooses. If he decides to fight at a distance, he will use his height and reach advantage over Taylor (which is minimal). If he decides to come inside, he will demolish the youngster. I give Taylor about a 20% chance of winning this fight.....and that would be due to a disqualification for roughhouse tactics. What do you people think?

For once we agree my friend. Taylor is pretty good, but Hopkins (even at 40) is just on a whole different level. Hopkins is as good as he is not only because of his physical talent, but because he is such a smart man in terms of strategy! Taylor has the physical talent already, but he does not have the experience or the ring IQ to beat Hopkins yet.

That being said, I think he has a 25% chance of winning, haha.

Taylor does not impress me at all..The only legit guy he fought which was a real middleweight was a punch drunk Joppy...Taylor looks like an amateur in the ring..he has no footwork, kind of looks like a stiff in my opinion..yes he has power and size..but Hopkins has fought bigger guys than him and harder punchers..Echols/Trinindad..Hopkins will beat him and make him look like an amateur..possibly Ko him late if he decides to sit down on his punches..To be honest Taylor should no be fighting Hopkins..he should be fighting someone the winner of the Trinindad/Wright fight..I think if he was to fight Trinidad..he would get his @ss KO'ed in brutal fashion..

            hmm

I feel that by the time they fight, Hopkins' skills will have eroded enough to allow Taylor and his youth to prevail. Hopkins ran for 5 rounds vs Eastman. He knows the time is nearing. Taylor is good enough to take advantage.

In the magarito/cintron fight experience beat out youth, is this a preview of what is to happen when hopkins and taylor fights...?

I wold have sworn I heard yesterday that BHop was backing out, claiming money issues. It would be the worst career decision he ever made.

BHop is definitely the more talented boxer, but Taylor is definitely a legitimate threat and the heir apparent to the Middleweight division.

I think you are on point here. If vbmartin is right and Hopkins is thinking of backing out, I believe it is more about respect for the kid than money issues.
