He has never been knocked down but at the same time his chin has never really been tested, which is a tribute to his excellent defence and overall boxing ability.

Mayweather has awesome defense..but I can see him getting K.O'ed by say a DLH/Kosta Tszyu/Judah..Chop Shop rocked him pretty good when they fought..I saw something..I was like wow..Mayweather's chin is questionable...If he stands and fights with a big puncher he might get laid out..if he fights his fight..then he is a force..a boring one to watch..but a force

The only time was against Hernandez. His hand grazed the canvas when he slipped. He ended up knocking him out though. Should have been ruled a push.

The hardest punch he ever ate, was against Castillo in the first fight. JLC smashed him with an uppercutt that would have knocked most fighters out. Floyd has a decent chin, better than most people give him credit for.

Floyd's chin has been battle tested many times and he has come through with flying colors. He has a very good chin.

The knock down against Hernandez was a joke, it was because Floyd's hand was broken and when he bounced a right hand off his head it hurt so he kind of stumbled and his glove grazed the canvas. Floyd still easily won by a wide margin. In other words, dont expect Gatti to do any permanent damage (or temporary for that matter).
