When does boxers mostly take PED, when they are training right? And when does the boxing's normal testing start? Boxer's train maybe 3 months max, in all those three months how many time do they tested and when? And how many weeks or days is the last testing prior to the actual fight?

And for example in a week or two weeks, how long is the interval between the intake of PED in such given time? In other words with every dose of PED, how long till the effect wear off, and another dose should be administered? Is it like any drug to be taken when the effect run out? If so how long is it for the PED? Or is PED a subtance to take just once, and no re use in a period of time? If so how long? Basically the debate around here is the time on when should the testing shoud be made and to answers all this question should really help me understand more what is going on.
Im sorry for all the question though, but it need answer. I know alot about boxing, but I sure do is naive about all this stuff. I sure think alot people are the same also. Any answers fellow posters?Comment

I know in Nevada they test after the fight, especially main eventers. I don't know if they test other time, they probably do?!
In California they will test you sometimes when you apply for license, there are random tests, after the fight.
I think all those tests are urine samples.
There is bunch of PED's, depends on what they are trying to accomplish with them. More muscle, better revocery etc.
I don't know a lot about PED's, some basics and that's it.Comment

What certain PEDs you think can help a boxer though? I think HGH cant really help a boxer though, HGH wont really improve your athletic capabalities. The only thing i can think of how HGH to benefit a boxer is the faster recuperation for faster healing and for training purposes but in the actual fight???? And for steroids, yeah it suits baseball players but for boxers? Muscle cant really help you, yeah sure it can give you more power, but for what cost? your speed? Speed and timing for me are the most essential thing for a boxers to have.
You can train harder then your opponent, more, and you are healthier... That would certainly help you.Comment

certainly, the harder you train; the easier the fight will be. But training is not only about healing, train harder than your opponent, be more ready for the fight, thats only half of it. The other half, is the actual fighting. You train for your opponent, find weaknesses, work on gameplans, improve your skillset such as the basics, footwork, combinations, dodging, and more. Sure you can be healthier than your opponent on fight night, but if you cant apply properly what you have to do, you wont be healthier than your opponent for too long. I dont think PED will help you there.Comment
