A new beginning but where does it end?

Floyd and camp wants to implement a new blood testing rule for this fight. Now boxing already has a commission that has been administering these tests for years. Apparently that's not good enough. What's the point of having boxing agencies if fighters keep coming up with ridiculous demands to override them? It starts with drawing blood within days of a fight but what could be next?

How about testing actual muscle tissue. Or allowing a spy from each camp to be apart of the opponents' to make sure nothing fishy goes on.

The commission has been too slow to adapt. They are using antiquated testing methods whilst cheats have moved on.Problem with commissions is they use fire fighting technics, first there is a problem then they take their time to decide how to deal with it.They should be at the forefront of research and setting standards.

Everyone including school kids knows about doping and cycles. It's ok for people to dope but when someone is a professional they should actually be tested all year round, not when they are only training. This should be standard stipulation for every licenced boxer. The way forward, these guys have been put in a position where they are going to adapt quickly. What Floyd has done is setting a precedent and that's the way boxing will go.
