8oz gloves are not standard...I emailed NSAC today and this is their response...you can check their website to verify if u wish

Athletes (boxers/kickboxers) weighing-in up to and including 135 pounds must wear 8 oz. gloves in competition, while athletes weighing-in over 135 pounds (junior welterweight class and above) must wear 10 oz. gloves in competition. However, athletes weighing in over 135 but not more than 147 pounds may wear 8 ounce gloves in competition if both athletes agree to do so in writing.

and i know that the 50/50 thing is fair...both had similar ppv buys...but i hear all this like the blood tests CAN affect pac psychologically...well so can a 10 million dollar penalty...that is a huge amount that will make floyd more concerned about weight than before..so this CAN affect him psychologically as well

I want him to take the test, but not if it's going to make him any less than 100% for the fight. I would argue the same case if Mayweather was the one with the issue. Why would either want to put themselves in a position where they feel they won't be 100% ready to fight?

If he needs 3 days to recover, whats the big deal of not allowing testing 3-5 days before the fight? It won't allow them to hide anything. They'll also have many tests during training, which is when steroids would have the biggest effect.

im sure that they will come to an agreement to eliminate the chance of any of the fighters to use enhancements...but from what espn was reporting and how bob has been talkin is that they want a test before the big press conference then a month before the fight then after the fight...how is that random testing? lol im fine with no test within a day of the fight...but they should have random blood and urine test throughout the 3 month training period for both fighters

tua i want to see this fight...i really don't even like mayweather but sometimes this site makes me just want to root against pacquiao i swear...i think the allegations are absurd but it just makes it seem that they might have some ground..i thought for sure that manny wouldn't mind the tests and be like fcuk it ill beat you anyway...but then this superstition thing caught me totally off guard

I think it's a complete farce and Mayweather Jr. is the biggest con man in boxing. He probably wouldn't even disagree with that, since he said himself a while ago "I'm back to steal some more money from boxing".

This entire mess was all started by the gossiping father of Floyd Jr, an ex-crackhead and convicted drug dealer. And now because Team Pacquiao won't give in to forced tests that have never been done in the entire history of the sport, they are somewhat locked into a corner. Either they give in to Mayweather's mind games -- because whether or not that is the intention, it ends up being a distraction, let's not deny it -- or walk away. Personally, I would tell them to go **** themselves.

Personally though, I don't care what Team Pacquiao do. I am not against testing of any kind, but on the other hand nor am I against standing your ground. This IS head games, people. Believe it. A ****** rumor has turned into forced testing. It's absurd.

The bottom line is Pacquiao is a threat to the Mayweather name. They know, we know it, and they are currently doing everything in their power to change that. They will stoop to any level. I just think it's a shame how these people are dragging the sport through the gutter. They are con men, opportunists, and a lot of people are suckers for buying it. I feel sorry for you all.
