    Pacquiao-Mayweather, NSAC

If the fight's in vegas like the promoters are most likely going to agree with, wouldn't they be sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission? If so, why can't they just take the standard drug test administered by the NSAC just like any other fighter that fights in that state? What makes Pacquiao-Mayweather more special than other fights that happen routinely in NV?

right now floyd has the last laugh with this extra demand...BUT!!!!

pacquiao should get him back with his own philosophy lol..

now we all know floyd was in the olympics and prob likes their testing style

WELL LOL....we all know pacquiao is a very religious christian and he should turns the tables and add that they perform an exorcism on floyd for saying that "God doesn't want him to lose" in his 24/7 series with marquez lol

just tryna lighten the subject lol

It's because Floyd is a *****, he's feeling very insecure about fighting Manny and losing his "0".

He's the only boxer in the history of Nevada who's demanded special tests for his opponent.

mayweather agreed to everything de la hoya demanded and he's agreed to everything pacquiao has demanded...what if mayweather didn't agree to one of manny's demands...all of you would frame him as a *****..but when pacquiao doesn't meet only ONE of floyd's demands..then floyd is still a *****? double standards homie

I don't really have a problem with it being as that the drug testing is flawed and there's ways around it, and people from the NSAC have publicly talked about the flaws and ways around it.

Mayweather is of course doing it to make sure Pacquiao's clean and to gain a mental edge, not necessarily for the "fairness of the sport" (where were these demands before?), but it doesn't mean his demands wouldn't be better for the sport.

Look at what some of the higher profile former members of the NSAC, such as Flip Homasky and Margaret Goodman, have said about testing. They acknowledge the flaws and Homansky himself says that testing during training would be better.

Stricter testing would be better for the sport. The thing is, do we really want to know whom is using PEDs? It might dissapoint us how many people are using. There might be a lot of guys getting caught.

Then again, I'm a realist, a BOXING fan, not a BOXER fan who loves a boxer more than the great sport itself (60% of this board).

My disagreement with it is equality.. If one boxer does it then shouldn't all boxers be tested the same way also? Why does pacquiao have to be singled out?
