How long does it take for a Blood test to be examined?

If it's to my understanding that blood from a blood test takes a few days to be verified and tested, what's the difference from taking a blood sample before or after the fight?

Either way, you'll still find out about the tests after the fight is done so what's the problem?

I don't see the hold up for either camps.
