I don't know for sure, but as far as I read into it, he wanted to fight JMM not only as a tune up after a near 2 year lay off, but also as a way to make a statement to Pac i.e. "look what I can do to a guy you struggled with", the same way Pac has been making statements with his demolitions of guys Mayweather had some trouble with.

He wants to be the P4P king again, and the only way to do that is by beating Pac. They will fight that's for sure.

Dude, you are seriously avoiding the point. Pac takes olympic drug test ansd the fight is on. Why not take the test? If it were Floyd refusing to test I bet you'd be all in his ass. But since it's Manny all you do is deflect the main point. Your guy takes the test and the fight is on. Stop being blind man, be a fan of the sport not just one guy

Okay, I am going to shut this all down. I like both guys and have a tremendous respect for both of them. I am tired of all the PBF duck talk. Please don't say that PBF ducked anyone in the lower divisions because "He was like Paul Williams back then. Nobody wanted to fight PBF!!!" He was knocking kats out then. If we are going to bad mouth him for skipping through the division, stop!!! Manny has been skipping around as well. I think that there are less famous boxers in the divisions that Manny has taken 1 fight in that will beat him. Seriously. JWW divison is loaded with Comp and Manny didn't stay around long enough. So let's not talk about skipping through the divisions please. Now, Mosley ducked PBF twice and wasn't willing to take the chance on fighting PBF (Check your history-youtube it) PBF called out Mosley, ODLH and Kostya all at one time. Now, Mosley is calling out Floyd to get a pay day when he wouldn't give PBF the opportunity when he was the man. After the latest Margarito findings, I am glad PBF never fought the cheater and I think MC should contest the loss. NO ONE WANTS TO FIGHT PAUL WILLIAMS because he is really a middleweight that has the ability to make WW. Mosley won't fight him. why? Cotto didn't. why? I am a fan of other fighters.. Before Pac I was watching SRL , Tyson and Gatti.. I'm also a Cotto fan..
