Mayweather v Pacquiao Is Off

The fight between Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao is off because the two sides cannot agree on drug testing.
It could have been one of the biggest money-making fights in boxing history but Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, says it will not go ahead because Mayweather has demanded Olympic-style dope testing.
The Fillipino boxer, Paquiao, does not want to give blood within 30 days of the fight as he feels it would disturb his training.
Arum is not happy because he says blood tests have never been used for professional fights in Las Vegas: "What I believe is that Floyd never really wanted the fight and this is just harassment of Pacquiao.
"Floyd, to me, is a coward and he has always been a coward.
"Not a physical coward, but a coward because he's afraid to face somebody who could beat him.
"He knew that Manny gets freaked out when his blood gets taken and feels that it weakens him."
Mayweather said: "I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same.
"It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night."
The fight had been scheduled to take place on the March 13thComment

Of course urine tests don't reveal everything. Why would they take blood samples from cyclists even during the long competitions? And they catch them in like 0.5% of the tests. PED’s are so advanced these days that we would have no guarantee of the fairness of the fight anyway. Imagine that if you have a ~0.5% chance to catch a cyclist who’s doping all the time, how infinitely small the chances are to see the other sports as real sporting events...Comment

If Pac says he's willing to do the blood test up until a week before the fight, and right after the fight, then wtf is FMJ and Golden Girl complaining about?
All of a sudden the NSAC is run by idiots? FMJ basically just slapped Keith Kizer and LV in the face by demanding what he is. And Pac said ok, but no blood test the week of the fight, but immediately after, yes.......Comment

to fight Mosley/Berto winner and then retire. The midget should avoid Jr. Too much BS, it is bad for boxing. Mosley after all is the legitimate champion and Berto is one tough dude.Comment
