There is nothing new in this statement. The key point is that Pac will not submit to testing less than 30 days from the fight. Who conducts the test is a non-issue if he won't submit to random blood tests. There have been a lot of Olympic athletes who have been caught using performance-enhancing substances. If the doctor that Arum quoted is correct, it would have shown up in the urine test. However, the Olympic Committee still takes blood samples. They obviously do it because they know something that Arum's doctor doesn't know. There have been a lot of Olympic athletes who have been caught using performance-enhancing substances. Also, I have never heard of the Olympic Committee doing a blood test on an athlete 24 hours before a big contest.
I said it yesterday and I will say it again. I believe that Pacquaio will suddenly have a change of heart after the May elections and will agree to the blood tests. I think he wants an easy fight before the election to keep a loss from affecting his political ambitions.

I respect Manny on many more fronts, his talent and willingness to take on challenges. I respect many other fighters for the same exact reasons I just described.
Floyd is immature and his flock happens to be even worse. No one takes this guy seriously when he opens his mouth, because he is insecure and defensive, he perceives persecution where it doesn't exist, using the race card to further his claims, he is full of ****. He's not liked because he's not a likable guy, it's not rocket science.
It's funny how he says if he was white he'd be further ahead, which is clearly nonsense. Sugar Ray Leonard was filming sprite commercials. Mayweather behaves boorishly. The only people who like Mayweather personally are those who can relate to his upbringing, that's a shallow pool if there ever was one.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 12-23-2009, 06:30 PM.

By the way, do you think a urine analysis was sufficient in the Marion Jones case? They conducted blood tests on her and still couldn't detect the substances she was taking!

This statement scares me, fight could really be in jeopardy, Arum doens't offer anything new here. The Mayweather camp is suspecting Pacquiao of taking Growth Hormones and those are only detectable threw blood test, and that only 48 hours after they were taken, you guys can check it out here:
http://www.wada-ama.org/en/Resources...rowth-Hormone/
So I have a bad feeling Mayweather will pull out since those urine tests have no value to him. He doens't want to risk going in the ring with a little Filipino hulk.
I don't care what they agree on I just want to see the fight a fair fight. this could ruin my holiday.
Why not reduce the number of random tests to like 2, just make this fight happen!

the mayweather camp are idiots to think mind games will work with manny and roach, there too clever for that.
and im glad finally a medically trained person has had some say in this, the mayweathers leanord elleby and golden boy no nothing about drug testing i bet, they just calling it out as to either avoid the fight,or play mind games and gain a cheap sly advantage somehow.
the fight will happen,in my mind floyd cant argue with what pacs willing to do already.
if he thinks hes the best then he should be able to beat anyone regardless of so called cheating or not!. shows how much confidence floyd has!,ha,hes so clearly insecure its embaressing,i mean hes got all the talent in the world,he doesnt need to be un sporting and un professional in the ways he is all the time!. grow a pair floyd and his camp!.

Most if not all of these labs have been shut down and the ones that are still in operation are subject to more stringent regulation in their respective states, with surprise visits regularly by the DEA. These labs are required by the state to keep and provide up to date books and records upon these visits.
I'm not saying it's not entirely possible to find a way around these tests, in fact I'm sure that possibility exists, boxing needs to get its priorities in order first and foremost, create a commission and then complain about testing and not just for one fight. My point is why didn't Mayweather ask for these type of tests before? Mosley even after taking steroids wasn't required to undergo Olympic style testing.
As it stands now Pac is adhering to the governing rules of the athletic commission in Nevada, not to the governing rules of Floyd Mayweather and his "customized" version of Olympic testing.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 12-23-2009, 06:49 PM.
