Wlad looked good. You could see him gain confidence each round. He paced himself properly, set up and threw the right hand more selectively.

He seems to be settling down, cautious but not scared. The lesson in carelessness he got from Sanders appears well learned. He picked his time to be aggressive more wisely and fought from the outside like a tall man should.

If Wlad fought that way against sanders in the first place, his career might look different today. Having said that he appears to be on the right track.

I think that Wlad looked like a better version of himself when he was fighting Williamson. And I think he will improve over next couple of fights(if he wins)and will get more acclimitated to his new style. He got one punch ko power so he can be economical with his right hand and his left can win him round.

....He could dominate the heavies by using that left all night long and throwing a few rights when the time came. The guy is so offensively skilled that it's sick. With better balance, better pacing, better stamina, and restored confidence, it's gonna be funny watching him destroy everyone in his path.
