No they would have tried- and went out on their back if that's the way it had to be. Look at Vargas v. Trinidad- Vargas got drilled early and often in the first 30 seconds of the fight. But he fought on, put Trinidad down later and became a superstar even in losing. Fans pay to see you fight, not cry after quitting.

I cant take it anymore all people do is make excuses when a fighter loses. (Not everyone) I think Cintron got his ass handed to him, he hit Margarito flush and as hard as he could.He even got him with a couple of good combo's and Margarito took it like he usually takes punches and moved on to his fight plan.

It looked like Margarito was barely getting warmed up and about to start his attack when Cintron could take it anymore. I dont think it was a lack of anything he just fought a better guy.
It not a good sign when you have most of the advantages and still get killed. I dont see Cintron beating any other top guys, not now and not ever.
Like Duncan said a young Tito and A young Vargas never ever went out like this, and I thought they both fought tougher guys.

Cintron's *****. as soon as he got that cut he stopped fighting and went into survival mode. from the look on his face you could see he was asking his corner to stop the damn fight. he's a big disappointment
