Guys what we all do have to accomodate for here is the hatred factor. Every so often boxing will throw up a rivalry that is so bitter and so entwined it becomes fistic history. Form goes out the window and these guys want to win so bad, they can summon up form that everyone thought was years gone.

Benn V eubank, Ali Frazier (look at the thrilla in manila as a prime example) to name but two. So what morales may do to another fighter he may not do to Marco. As we know a lot of boxing is psychological and I feel MAB just gets to Eric too much.

Having said that it was still a very close fight, correct decision though.

    Legends both of them.
Yeah, I thought that MAB was past his best and had EM as a fairly comfortable winner before the fight. It'll be interesting to see MAB's next couple of fights to see if it was just the EM factor that dragged that performance out of him.

I think Marquez beats Pac but then Pac can still chase Barerra.

I feel no matter what MAB can not defeat Pacquiao. People are just gasing MAB up to make it seem like he can beat him. Pacquiao is not going to box, he is going for a brutal early stoppage in which could easily deteriorated MAB.

C'mon Eskimo, Barrera just beat Morales, and hes being gassed up? Barrera will not embarrass himself like in the first fight, but will not be able to beat Pacquiao. As good as Barrera looked against Morales, Pacquiao's speed, youth, and power are simply going to be too much for the Mexico City Warrior.

Let's give it to MAB. He proved all skeptics wrong and he regained lost glory.
But MAB-Pacman II won't be the same as MAB-EM III. Erik doesn't have the speed and doesn't pack the same power as Pacman. That explains MAB's aggressiveness. He didn't think twice to come inside and fight toe-to-toe with Erik.
Now, he won't be able to do that with Pacman. Or it will be sure suicide for him. As with their first bout, MAB will be overwhelmed with Pac's hurricane speed and murderous fists!

(Ps: Now Arum is crying like hell over the judges' scoring. Why didn't he cause a whimper on the same scoring controversy in the JMM-Pacman fight? Sore loser!!)

That's right Bro. MAB has the confidence to go inside and bring the fight to Eric because he knows Eric doesn't have the power and speed that Pac have. That's what makes the diferrence, MAB being a smart fighter won't do that to Pac. He already felt Pac speed and power infact he acknowledged that Pac was the strongest puncher he had encountered so MAB's got to double his speed and power if he ever intends to be aggresive against Pac, Which is imposible.

I wont be surprised if MAB pulls off and spell victory against PAC, after all hes a great warrior . . and will always be one of the best of his time . .
you cant stay on top forever and time will tell somebody has to take out somebodys crown . . . and the closest person i think capable of the taking is PAC . . .
