why does he need to get his blood drawn within those 30 days to begin with? needles and getting blood drawn are two different things.

Regardless about the testing, the main thing that irked me about some of these fan boys is that they still claim that Mayweather is ducking. Mayweather is clearly not ducking this fight. It's pretty disrespectful to think that people will still **** on you when you accept the 50/50 clash in this kind of fight. I used to think Floyd was just running his yap about getting no credit if he fought this guy or that guy but now I am starting to believe him. If he were to fight Shane, Miguel, and Manny he would still get **** on by some of these posters. It's a shame if you ask me.

Roach said his concern has nothing to do with hiding anything.

"Giving blood right before the fight could be like having sex right before the fight," Roach said. "It’s 100% mental. If it’s in your head that it weakens you, then it will weaken you."

Roach extended an olive branch to the riff, saying he would allow Pacquiao to give a blood sample one week before the fight, but no closer than three days before the first bell.

again you are making it sound like he's already on something which no one, nor any tests hes taken has proven yet. set your bias for 10 secs and think how unfair it would be if your opponents demands to draw your blood under his terms. that would be absurd
Steroids are a long term thing meaning you dont get benefits over night , the enhancement is on a metabolism level which it speeds up and the byproduct of that speedup is you able to " train harder " because you recover quicker , if a boxer were to take steroids you would take them early in training and right through to about 1/2 way through your camp and then stop because they will tend to make you run hot and you will be water logged , if you were to test a boxer for steroids 28 days before and 14 days before that would be sufficient , if he used steroids in the last 2 weeks of training they would hurt him and they would know that , its the middway point I would want him tested .

WTF??? Money has managed to outwit the Pacman outside of the ring. WTF? Next thing you know, they'll have ask the boxers take the aptitude tests. This is crazy.

And crazy is the operative word for the Mayweather camp and Golden Boy.

I knew Floyd wanted a way out of the fight and now he’s found one," Roach said.

Mayweather advisor Ellerbe answered, "Freddie Roach is full of [it], they’re scrambling, and he knows that. Floyd doesn’t have a problem with it, so Manny Pacquiao sure shouldn’t have a problem with it."

"I just hope Manny has not been properly briefed on this, because, of course, one would assume that he’d find it acceptable to be subject to the same testing that Lance Armstrong, Kobe Bryant and Floyd Mayweather agree to," Mayweather promoter Richard Schaefer said. "If he decides to walk away from this fight because of a blood test, then draw your own conclusions."

So Jr. is going to ask Mosley, Berto or Williams for the same test too?
