If he wasnt fighting on a level field how was he expected to win the fight.Cotto was being weakened as the fight went on by Margarito because Margarito's shots were heavier. Also add the pyschological advantage Margarito had.
As for Manny,Cotto landed some of his best shots early on but they didnt have any effect.A normal person not on drugs would have been slowed down by such shots.

dude cotto lost the fight to margarito because he had no stamina after round 7....rewatch the fight at some points he was so fatigued he couldn't even lift up his arms...as for pacquiao his game plan was way different...i'm a huge cotto fan and he even acted different in his corner in between rounds...normally cotto takes huge breaths of air during rounds but during the pac fight he didn't do that and was talkin more than catching his breath....he lost to margarito because of fatigue (which is due to his nose was bleeding since round 2) and he lost to pac because his gameplan was **** and pac was beating him to the punch

Miguel Cotto is not 36-0, but anyone, doesn't matter whose fans (aside from Margarito and Pacquiao's) they are, has to agree that Cotto has suffered some great injustice and the allegation against his opponents are very valid and im sure heavily pondered of. In my personal honest opinion, i think he was cheated against by Marg and Pac, and he was physically and psychologically damaged.
Anyone has to agree that it is a shame what has happened to him since he had so much potential and talent, but now his body is permanently weakened by battle with disadvantages.

What we can ALL appreciate is that he is fighter who ducked absolutely nobody, beat some of the top guys, and never quit (you try fighting someone with concrete for 11 rounds and see if you keep going). He always gives it his all, and he never complains or is disrespectful, very humble. He's a true throwback fighter and to me, and all time great.

Miguel first he loses to Margarito then Margarito is found to be cheating and gets caught right in the next fighter.
He gets such a beating from Pacquiao who refuses to give a table spoon of blood as a sample for drug testing.
Miguel Cotto needs a proper team not those people he has around him. They havent helped him in life,he needs professionals like Mayweather and Mosley.
Anywhere Miguel is 36-0 but he's damaged from getting beaten by cheats.

Cotto is actually 156-0, but Arum never registered most of his wins, it's a shame really.

There's definitely something going on when a guy won't give a teaspoon of blood. If he wasn't on anything, he'd give it up in a heartbeat to put any doubt to rest...
