Arum and Roach's response: "We’re not going to agree to have Manny's blood tested"

It's not simply, taking a test. Drawing blood can affect your performance. I know, if I get blood drawn outta my arm, the next day, I can't curl for ****. It's sore as ***. I'm not saying it's major, but maybe enough to play against him in his mind or something. It's just ****** and the best way for Mayweather to back out of the fight while saying to everyone, Pac is on steroids. It's sad the level Mayweather brings boxing down to, yet his fans are ok with it all.Comment

Manny will probably give blood (pints) 24 hours before the fight....
Money will probably piss 3 weeks before .... and call it fair ... why?
because that is what random means....Comment

What's weird to me is, Pacquiao gave blood 2-4 weeks before the Hatton fight, but he won't do the same for Mayweather?
That to me signals that this is all posturing by both sides and the fear of needles and even the whole Pacquiao is on steroids campaign is a bunch of BS.
But if the fight falls apart, this will be embarassing for the sport and Pacquiao.Comment

No, that's not what random means at all in terms of Olympic testing. They would each be tested multiple, random times leading up to the fight. It's not like pulling a name out of a hat.Comment

no, random mean it would be random, and there would be no amount of probability that the odds would be in favor of Floyd, because then it would not be random.Comment

FYI The amount of blood taken per test is a little over a tablespoon or about 16mL. Here is the link to the World Anti-Doping Agency document detailing the amount of blood taken. It's on page 12.

Hardly enough to affect performance. Manny's a big boy. He should be able to overcome his little fear of needles for $40-50 million.Comment
