I saw this matchup coming, since they're both are with GBP and suffered setbacks last time out. Guzman got this, it'll be easy too. Surprised Diaz' management are gonna put him in there against him, Juan looked like he was fighting in slow motion against Paulie.

Didn't think they would try to make it this soon though. A link would be good.

should be fairly easy work for guzman. if diaz couldn't do anything against paulie imagine what guzman will do to him. i see guzman slipping diaz's attack with ease and picking him apart.

From what I saw against Funeka, Guzman slowly gave into the relentless pressure of a robotic, yet constant Funeka.
Kats is not as robotic yet he is as relentless, a true warrior type who pressures.
What happens different..I say nothing but I will say that Guzman clowns him for about 3- 5 rounds and starts to slowly fold under Kats pressure.
I also dont want to hear about nosebleeds, especially when its part of boxing and Kats has a good chance of causing one too.
Kats in not 10 ft. tall and does not possess a piston-like jab. Ali was pressuring intelligently unlike Kats who goes face first.

The key to beating a slick boxer has historically been pressure. Kats has the stamina to pressure a light hitting Guzman all night. What happens when Kats busts his nose? That seemed to be the excuse for Guzman before. I dont want to hear ring rust either. Half the guys career is ring rust with his activity. This fight will probably go off next July to keep up with the one fight per yr schedule.

Funny how Diaz's career went to **** as soon as he signed with Golden Boy, literally the week of, lol.
Guzman could dominate Diaz moving backwards ala the Humberto Soto fight or he could stand his ground the way he did with Funeka and stop Diaz. It didn't work for Guzman over the long haul against Funeka but Diaz isn't an oversized freak with great stamina and pop. I won't believe this till I see both guys in the ring.

              Not fully.

Even then, they haven't cared about Guzman before, why would they care now.

Floyd > Castillo, Hatton, DLH, etc.
                Toney > Barkley, Jirov
                Pea > Chavez, Nelson

                Should I keep going?

Guzman looked game to me against Funeka. It's just hard to beat Funeka without hurting him and Guzman doesn't hit hard enough to do that. He's still a dangerous fighter.

lol fine. Did you not see Barrios and Soto pressure Guzman all night? Did you not see Guzman counter them all night long?
