Pac fans,please do not try and justify this.There is no reason why Manny shouldn't agree to the testing.If the other guy is willing to take the test then so should Pacquiao...Thats plain n simple.I'm Manny the tough guy that doesn't like getting my blood taken.That doesn't sound right to me.Manny better wake up quick and come to his senses.

You fail to recognize that this isn't a case of Floyd agreeing to testing and Manny refusing. This is a case of Floyd's team dictating unusual terms and then writing slanderous pieces in the press to imply impropriety. I guess it comes as no surprise that people are so gullible as to eat the **** up. Makes me wonder whether it's a case of people only reading headlines or if the average boxing fan has 8th-grade level reading comprehension to not see through this obvious straw-man attack.

Secondly, Who exactly does this drug testing help?? It's most definitely targeted at Pacquiao and only helps Mayweather to psychologically affect Pacquaio's fear of drawing blood through a needle.

Thirdly, Why do the Mayweather's insist on doing a blood check before the fight? An immediate after fight sample would be just as good as a 5 mins before sample, the difference being the mental effect on Pac.

Are the steroids Pac is supposedly taking on a timer? Do they automatically flush out of his system after the last bell?

This drug testing is to aggravate Pacquiao into not being 100% there mentally.

The way *****s are going on about it, it seems like they want to give this to *******s as an excuse after the fight.

There are no psychological advantages here.An Olympic style testing is just thorough.Testing 30 days before the fight will catch anyone using drugs and the fight will be cancelled.Manny will get sued probably and wont make any money from the fight.
Testing 5 minutes after the fight,Manny will have fought,make the money and then fail the drug test.This defeats the whole purpose of drug testing

Your thread title is wrong. The only way to benefit from HGH is to take it in conjunction with anabolic steroids. HGH by itself provides little to no benefit and in some cases is detrimental to athletic ability.

See, I can understand your logic to an extent but not to the point of Manny refusing the test, the fight getting canceled, and this somehow falling back on Floyd. Manny doesn't like needles. Manny is superstitious. I don't care. Fact is, athletes should always have random drug testing done. Boxing is notorious for lagging behind other sports; i.e. not using instant replay between rounds, etc. Don't use the excuse that Floyd's camp is dictating it, so its invalid. Maybe its a request Manny doesn't love, and I understand it, but for this much money- and this big of a fight- he has to suck it up. He'll shut Floyd and anyone else right up when he passes, right? Regardless of whether the commissions require it, Olympic testing isn't outrageous.

team mayweather knew all along that they had this angle. they knew pacq was using "sumthing" but now we all know they are gaming the commission. pacq is superstitious his secret ariza juice can be found in his blood up to a month b4 the bout!

If I am wrong we will never know because team pacq is shying away from from the blood test.
