Castillo threw the fight, the Germens fixed it, all Castillo did was block and let him slip in punches, than pretend to stagger for a stoppage.
Yeah your right. The Germans got Castillo to throw the fight. Castillo looked a lot like the other 44 quitters Wlad beat, especially the 40 ko'ed quitters.
****** Germans, first it's the ***s and then it's the Wlad opponents. You should do something!

Don't know if anyone here will agree with me but it looked to me that Castillo was ready to go and he was running over to the neutral corner. He didn't look like the was hurt. I have no idea why the referee stopped the fight, it was definetly early and the two punch combination landed didn't seem that fierce. Fixed fight?
Castillo didn't do a damn thing for 4 rounds. Why worry about coming out for the fifth?
This fight ****** ass and would have been the dog of the ESPN PPV...
....Shut the **** up already. That guy didn't even want to be in the ring with Wlad. He offered nothing at all.
eggsmackly
he really didnt wanna be in thier
plus who ever said it didnt look that fierce
i kinda agree
but i do think it merited the stoppage
couldve gave him a second chance
but it would just been a second chance to get hurt more
cuz as pbds said
he wasnt offering much of a fight
great post as i think something similar......fixed no, but the guy didn't come to fight.....thus took a semi-dive.....
i have serious questions about the knockdown, and definitely castillo not getting up....although i would attribute these to Castillo himself rather than "fixing".
even when castillo was on his ass, he wobbled his jaw a couple times as if he needed to recompose his jaw.......although the funny thing was that he didn't get hit on the jaw at all.......he got hit in the face on the nose..........
I'll watch the replay tommorrow but it looked legit to me. Maybe Castillo did the jaw thing just because or maybe he was embarrased. Like when a fighter gets knocked down and sometimes gets up smiling. Acelino Freitas was all smiles when Barrios knocked him down the first time. Still, Wladimir landed a punch, unlike Hopkins pat on De La Hoya.
