Funny how you come in here defending this idiot thread starter and quickly jump on someone for insulting Martinez. Can you say agenda?

Welterweight is simply brought up due to the fact that thats where he garnered his attention from.. he hasnt proven to much outside of that realm would you agree

its simply my reply to why he may have drawn such strong critism and "hate".. alot of people view it as him cherry picking his way to a cool nickname.. u disagree..eh these things happen

But to tote the nickname as most feared man in boxing as a giant among midgets is bound to have some repurcussions should he look average or struggle in a fight..

I believe the point of weight classes was to pit men of comparable size together... If this is assumption is wrong i sincerely concede
If he weighs the same as the other guys, then he is the same size.

Some guys are shorter but they have wide thigh muscles, thick calves, and thick torsos with bigger arms and more compact punching power.

Williams is taller, but his legs are thin, his torso is small and his arms are very small.

        It is all relative.

Williams never gave himself that nickname.

          Never called himself that.

HBO did, so they could make money off the hype.

Williams shouldn't be discredited for that.

Yeah, there is even an interview where he talks about it. He says he never gave himself that nickname, promoters and the networks just started doing it.

He was calling himself that before the Margarito fight. "Most feared Mandatory" was the orginal.
