Would anyone be interested in a Red K revolt against dumb Pac-May threads?

Same with Pacfans and their ******ed Floyd threads. But what do I do? read the title and ignore it, not even enter it or red k or anything. Just ignore the thread. Trolls eventually get banned, let them be.Comment

I get that it's big and people want to talk about it. I just don't get why there has to be 24 threads a day about steroids. It would be different if they were talking strategy or something but 20 something threads about steroids or Floyd being gay? Why can't all that be in one thread. You don't think this place needs a little cleanup? We don't want to get rid of all the Pac/May threads. Just the trolls really...So, when you bump it and nobody responds,
that just means nobody wants to talk about it.
Pac - May is huge right now. Its what many boxing fans have been asking for for years, for boxing to get bigger in the mainstream to attract new fans.
I never fell for that line of thinking for the exact reasons you guys are complaining about now, too many newbies and casuals to the sport who know **** about it.
Its just like the saying goes,
"be careful what you ask for, you just might get it".Comment

I think you will find that *******s are getting the same treatment. Read post 001.Comment

Not necessarily. There may be people wanting to discuss a common interest in a fighter who isn't Mayweather or Pacquiao, but any topic they make gets relegated to page 3 within minutes for obvious reasons.
All good and well.
But at this point, the discussion would best be limited to a single giant topic, or else zap any new ones to a subforum. That way the rest of us who don't have anything to discuss (or *****) about the fight for the duration of the next 3 months can get back to talking boxing in a more diverse way.Comment

Dude, you have to realize, everyone is not on the same wavelength. Especially when so many are new fans one way or another. Especially when so many are quite young. Especially in this day and age when steroids brings so much talk.
No, I don't think it needs a little cleanup, what it needs is smarter people to realize you can't change ****** and its best to just ignore it.
I don't particularly care for it either, so I have, in private, asked a few of the better posters to either create better threads, or just bump older ones.
Red K'ing doesn't do ****. Ignoring and creating better threads has been my best solution.Comment

Again, its not that hard to find what you would like to talk about here. There are over 6,000 pages of threads here. Because something isn't on page 1 doesn't mean its not worth talking about.
I just bumped quite a few from 2004. How many of those have any other posts but mine in 2009?Comment

I agree with this.
I haven't red k'd or reported not even one Pacfan for their "Fraud Gayweather", "Fraud's afraid of Pacquiao", Fraud this, Fraud that, threads. All I do is ignore it. Ignoring people is such a deadly retaliation that it is only used by the very smart people which are few of them, and i'm talking about in every day life not only internet.Comment
