I can see Mayweather hurting Pacquiao. Maybe dropping him.

I would not be surprised if Floyd stopped him

In order to do that you have to tap enough. Recent history dictates that Floyd's work rate most likely won't be enough to "crack" pac

        Mak,

If he doesn't finish the job, it's likely because he'll be so ahead on the cards with the inevitable outcome that he'll find it unnecessary to put him out.

I have reason to believe Floyd is also compassionate about his opponents
when he has to be. Though he has dished out some mean punishment on some opponents in the past when they've turned up the heat to try and take him out.

He'd rather see a fighter go out on his shield than see a fighter's career ruined by a life altering injury. Something he is concerned about himself.

That's just what I feel about it.

like the Marquez fight in the 2nd round?

and i'm not really a fan of compassion in the ring...maybe after the fight...its the hurt game bro...i'm a paying fan and i want to see high-intensity competition

PAC's compassionate too...look at how he tried to help peel David Diaz off the canvass after he put him down

agree. Pac can be KDd if he gets caught of balance with a lunging potshot. Pac KOing floyd is more likely than floyd Koing pac.

the only way floyd will deck pac is thru punch accumulation or pac running into the corner post ala hatton.

for the first to be possible, floyd has to be offense-minded and out of his defensive shell.

pac and roach will love an offense-minded floyd more than anything else in this world.

I can see him hurting Pacquiao to, not to say he will floor him or knock him out, although neither would surprise me.

Its like Crilla said on Burner's phone in, Mayweather plays the %, he does enough to beat you, and the more pressure you put on the more he shows. I dont expect Pacquiao to be knocked down or hurt early because Mayweather is usually very tight early on in fights, he takes time to establish his rhythm. Also, Pacquiao is gonna jump all over Mayweather when that first bell goes, that said when Manny starts to tire from throwing so many punches/applying so much pressure, he could pay the price due to tiredness.

Dont know whether he will! but its not inconceivable.

I'm not predicting a knockout won't happen by either side, I'm only saying
Floyd may not try and finish Manny off if he doesn't need to, especially if he's aware that he's going to win anyway.

He might want to finish the job for the fans since it's the likely biggest fight of the year.

LOL so now Floyd is a compassionate fighter? He doesn't KO his opponents because he cares :blow:
