This is a good article. However, I'm very interested in where Mark Vester got that Hopkins quote from. On December 11th, I published a very similar article on ESB. Here is what Hopkins said in Vester's article:



And then the quote in my article is a lot longer with Hopkins going into full depth, but Hopkins says pretty much word for word that is said in this article. It seems like Mr. Vester cut a large chunk of it out and used bits and pieces for the article.

I'm not sure if it's plagerism because I don't own any rights to this interview, but I'm very interested where Mark Vester got this quote from.

It's funny that you did no fact checking or searched via Google or Bing before you began your accusations but took the time to write this whole mess out. Since the newspaper article is sourced in his article and easily found online.

It has no mention of where the quote of Bernard came from. And I put the whole quote into google and I just get Boxingscene's article.

I mean it's almost word for word the same quote, so it's natural to be curious.

Also I took the time to relisten to the interview and reread both articles. It never specified where the quote for Bernard came from, just where Green had his, and so that's why I was confused.

I considered that a possibility and I took it into mind, but I was curious. The article lacked a source for Bernard and I've posted that interview on here a number of times plus the article. So I became curious.

That still doesn't change anything. There is a big difference between curious and jumping into a person's article with accusations that he chopped up your material and took your quotes.

I'm assuming you will email Bernard Fernandez of the Philadelphia Daily News and ask him whether he took your quotes.

Emailing Fernandez has crossed my mind, but it's a lot more unlikely he "took my quotes"

I've posted the article on here on numerous occasions, so from my point of view it would have been more likely for Vester to come across the article use the quotes. Unless Bernard Fernandez checks Boxingscene's forums frequently or ESB, then that is unlikely. It is more likely for a writer of Boxingscene to check Boxingscene's forums, so I wondered if he used the quotes. I know he didn't because you provided a source and I'm glad.


And you can't blame me for wondering, I mean look at the quotes.
