for the same reason he was a special case winning a title that is for a limit of 147 pounds in a 145 pound fight, for having rules bent to his favor is the reason why it's okay to bend them against his favor..

and I been reading threw the posts, there's a guy who said they should test Manny AFTER the fight? so what happens if they juice him up real good right and he happen to beat the rest of Floyd's career out of him and in the end he was still caught anyway, why not have just tested him before the fight and stop him from cheating? so basically you saying let Floyd take the damage first and if Pacquiao was in fact cheating THEN after Floyd is damaged test him and see?

IMO Manny is clean so he should just take the test, they should mandate that in the contract, multiple testings going up until just an hour before the fight and they should check out all the water bottles too, hand wraps, bottles in the corner and all that ****, leave no unanswered questions. if Manny wins this you know what this will do for his legacy? he should WANT to do all the testing so he can further solidify his claim, people put him to the test and he passed both in and out the ring, that is top 5 ATG material if he wins this fight and proves to be clean..

What if Pac looses the fight because of the blood test (mental affect/physical affect) and he was clean? Is that fair to him? If you really think he's clean, why push it? Why is there any doubt? Why give in to Sr's baseless accusation? Why does Pac have to clear his name when he has given no reason for any of us to doubt him? I understand using the testing to prove his innocence but it disgusts me that he has to do that because a former crackhead and convicted drug pusher said so.

Many professional athletes have specific routines they religiously follow up to the point of their competition. If Pac says he's thinks it'll affect his performance then I'll trust him. If Floyd said the same I'd trust him too. This fight is too big, too important for either fighter to have an advantage.

if that was your son, a great and adored by millions kind of fighter, an undefeated ATG who still has as many years as he wants, at the very core of it he's your son and you love him. if you had an honest doubt inside your heart, KNOWING your kid is about to fight this guy, wouldn't you act upon it? wouldn't you step up and say hey test that guy? or would you let your son go into the ring knowing that in your heart of hearts you thought some shady **** was going down and you could have prevented it by just saying something?

LOL @ "clear your name." There is nothing to be cleared since his name hasn't been besmirched. What have they proven? Nothing. You act as if it has already been proven that Pac does steroids and it is incumbent upon him to satisfy and indulge tests that are arbitrary at best.

And why wouldn't Roach say that unless it's true, what if it does or it will affect Manny jsut like it supposedly did with the Morales fight, or just in general it affects Manny. The way I see it, this whole Olympic style testing can only affect Floyd Jr. negatively. I don't think Manny gives a **** either way. If he's clean then he's got nothing to worry about. By requesting this testing, the Mayweathers are pretty much admitting flat out that Pacquiao is too good to be true and so he must be on something. No mind games, they're just in awe of Manny's superpowers and are su****ious. When Manny's tests come out negative and they know Manny's the real deal, what's that going to do to Floyd Jr. mentally? ****, he's going to think he's going in the ring against Wapakman.

Mayweather Sr. wants Pacquiao to give blood a day before the fight though. Which in my opinion would make a difference physically. Mayweather Sr. knew that.. thats why he said "mentally"

less blood = less rbc/platelets = less oxygen = Manny did high altitude training for nothing.

not necessarily to "clear his name," but follow through with what has been agreed upon. twist it any way you want, but refusing to do the tests will only add to the su****ion, and give detractors more ammunition. as has been stated many times, if you have nothing to hide, why not take the tests?

either way the best they get wont be good enough. Even 3 weeks before doesnt prove that he didnt if he passed. They should either do it at the weigh-in or immediatly after but besides that I think its dumb. What if he passes the test 3 weeks out and then has 3 weeks to do it. Im not accusing him at all but Im just saying that Roach's acception is dumb and Senior setteling for 3 is dumb
