I think Khan is a good boxer and an first class amateur boxer. I say this because he had a fantastic style for the amateur game but I am not convinced how great a pro he will make partly because of the way Prescott KOd him and partly because I have yet to see him in a truly competative fight where I can make a truly objective analysis on how good he really is. There is no question he is highly skilled and fast but I have not seen him tested. Kotelnik is his best opponent to date but he is really at solid journeyman level and if he did not have a title I am sure Warren would have avoided him. The Barrera fight would have been really interesting but that cut ruined it. It is hard to determine just how good he is when he is fighting the likes of Oisin ***an and Salita. I want to see him fight good fighters not get fed soft touch bums by Warren and then being touted as a future all time great. That is just anoying and insults the intelligence of real boxing fans. Frank Warren has spotted a niche fan base and is milking that market for all he can setting up low risk high financial return fights yet hyping him to the max and right now I don't see that pattern changing. It is this which turns off real boxing fans on this forum but that will change when he starts fighting better fighters where he will either get found out or earn respect.
