I mean, I don't even know why fighters wanna become champs of these ABC orgs, they f**kin' get charged sanctioning fees. Actually, I understand why. But, I'd rather go for that Ring title!!

They should have 1 title per division. To many champions right now which makes being a champion kind of pointless in my opinion. True boxing fans know who the real champions are I guess

It's not gonna happen for as long as the fighters keep giving them the $$$.

That's how these guys make $$$, those g*dd*mn sanctioning fees are crazy. At the same time, us hardcore fans say we don't even care about the ABC bodies, but, being a world-champ still holds weight, it's much better to sell a fight if a title is on the line.

I mean, just look at the upcoming mega-event between PAC and that track star. It just elevates the hype with the fact that it's a championship fight and not just a fight for bragging rights.

Us hardcore fans may not care, we just want to see the two duke it out, who cares if it's in a parking lot or a nice venue like the MG. But, it's a much better product if a championship title is on the line.

It's adding more belts, but, the casual fan would probably know more about an HB* or Sh*wtime world champion than a f**kin' WB*, IB*, etc champion. Therefore, it may just end up forcing the ABC orgs out.

The whole idea is to phase out the ABC orgs. W/O the two cable giants where else are these ABC orgs gonna get noticed ?

we have many bowl champions for the ncaa but we know who the real champs are. 4 titles per division is what makes the sports a worldwide success. as a fan yeah i wanna see 1 title peer division but how in the world would the sports be relevant outside of USA with that concept

Hmm, good point! But, there's more than 4 titles per division, Ring's title is a major one as well, IBO is starting to get recognition.

No don't give them any ideas The ABC titles would not be fazed out because as an up and coming fighter who is unknown those ABC titles give you a bit of recognition and bargaining and may open doors that were closed to you before. so instead of like 4-5 titles now we would have 7 champs per division.
