because you fight in a team you're close with, the whole team is there to help you. wouldn't it be a little too selfish to say me? of course you're the only one getting in there, but everyone working hard for you to be in the best fighting shape to get into the ring right?

a corner has to decide when to end a fight for the fighter, because a fighter may not know when to stop. a corner's there for its' safety. a fighter just wants to fight, and the corner's there to preserve the health of the fighter. without the corner, u'd be in a lot of trouble.

*EDIT* this is just my opinion as a boxer (not pro)/boxing fan

yeah i noticed that with a sparring partner of mine. i train with him with boxing, although he do MMA. the dude is veteran, black belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, bad as ****, only the matchmaker treatin him like trash. he gonna move to another team, he so sick and tired of it. all BS fights he getting..

and then ppl complain there's no loyalty to the fight team these days anymore, fighters are whores.. well fighters deserve to be treated well though right?
