He may not be stronger then Cotto. But he's faster, smarter and is just better in every other area.

And endless pressure? Have you seen Mayweather fight before? That never works.

Manny's a great fighter. Floyd is better.
cotto is a better offensive fighter than floyd hands down........look what happened to him vs pac..........floyd willll run period......

Okay I do think Mayweather has the advantage here, he's never been beat, therefore there really is no blueprint to beat him, it's all just speculation. On the other hand, I saw something that i liked in the Pacquaio-Cotto fight that makes me think Mayweather could beat Pacquaio. When Cotto was so called "running" around Pacquiao, countering, picking his spots, keeping his boxing wits, and just fighting smart, he was doing well. If Mayweather is a "runner" then u gotta admit that he is one helluva runner. Cotto is no Mayweather. Cotto gets hit in his fights, Mayweather doesn't! Mayweather has waaay better footwork, speed, reflexes, ring generalship. Cotto got his because he has a hunchback postion in which he leans in those being a target to Manny, and Mayweather will not be there ti hit! Therefore Mayweather will probably be able to outbox Manny easy if he gains control of the fight and dictates it to his pace.

Sup Danny. I think the bolded part is the difficult bit -- trying to control a relentless fighter like Pacquiao, I dunno man, I don't think that's gonna be easy for any fighter right now.

Despite Cotto doing his boxing thing and (literally) running, he won maybe two rounds, max, and one of those (the first) was given away. Boxing and potshotting did basicaly nothing for him, when all's said and done.

Based on Freddie's contradicting predictions, I don't see how Manny can stop Floyd.

Sure, Floyd has a great jab, great movement, and picking your punches better than just throwing punches in bunches like Manny, it could get Manny to think a bit more and that is not a good thing, Plus they say Roach is not good in coming up with a plan B and C in a fight. And that could lead to big trouble for Mayweather! Cotto did good boxing Pacquaio he just couldn't do it for 3 full minutes because eventually Pacquiao was able to catch him, and when he caught him it wasn't pretty. Still got Mayweather fairly confident, but I wouldn't be surpise if Manny won, still got Floyd though. Got a lot of respect for Manny.

                  That needs some clarification.

I don't think I made myself clear in my last post, I don't know if Manny's punching in bunches will work for Mayweather, plus if Freddie's strategy doesn't work, he might not have a good back up plan, Floyd has the best footwork in the game and that would throw Manny off.
