I bet all those guys getting clobbered by punches they didn't even see... think he is slick. He does't have a slick style for tv, but he is definitely slick in the ring.

He moves his head and feet pretty well, but he's definitely not what I would call a slick boxer, and he doesn't have ability to outbox the really top line technical guys such as JMM. (and Floyd as we will soon see)

Manny is first and foremost a fighter who gets hit and comes at you. He has added some nice head movement and angles in over the last few years, to make him more multi-dimensional, but he is not a slick boxer by any stretch of the imagination.

That is called being fast, being slick is having an extremely effective defence with great upperbody movement that can make even top fighters swing at air and look ******. Eg: Sweet Pea, Floyd, Toney.

I`ve seen Pac spar in a vid from ********** and let me tell you:not only is he a slick fighter but he boxes much better in sparring then when he does in the ring.

The sparring i seen him in,he was doing alot of different feints and kept on changing stances to confuse the fighter he was sparring.I was very impressed.I was thinking why don`t he fight like that in the ring?I wish i would have downloaded that vid so i could show ya`ll.Maybe one of you might have it or seen it.

And this is coming from a Pac hater.

He has to be black first before he becomes slick.

Because that is not his forte and if he tried to do that on another top fighter like Floyd or JMM he would get owned. Even vs Cotto where he was whooping ass he didn't look slick and got hit quite a bit. Doing it vs a sparring partner in the gym is a completely different matter.

I know you are joking, but Willie Pep is an example of a slick white fighter.
