that may be a wise move. 5'6 is a bit too short for 154 I think. I mean cotto is short compared to a lot of guys at 147.

Definitely a smart move. If he's as comfortable at WW as JMW he'll be a beast in a sick division. His Baby Frazier Jump Hook was nasty in his last bout.

That would be awesome and ideal, if he can handle the weight loss. His physique looks more like a natural 165lbs right now. But i think with his strenght, speed, and height would be more ideal for a WW.

I don't think height is a huge deal for him because Porter is built like a mini tank. But going down to 147 would be a very wise move because I'm sure he can make it down to that division and dominate. Later on when he can't cut to 147 anymore, he can move back up to 154.

Good idea Shawn. The fighters at JMW has too much height advantage against you.

Mini tanks can be easily disarmed by the right tools - tall guys with long arms that know how to box. Imagine if Paul Williams actually boxed from a distance and used his jab against a guy like Porter. **** would be so unfair lol
