I really like Cotto but Floyd has both better Offence and Defence than Cotto, because he varies it, rarely misses and keeps you guessing. Cotto can't fire shots going backwards like Mayweather can and Mayweather also has those short sharp punches he can fire on the way out. Mayweather is superior on the inside and on the outside. Cotto just hits harder.

Manny and Floyd both have better offence than Cotto, which is why you hear people like JMM saying they hit him with shots he didn't see rather than just brute strength.

Freddie is just trying to hype the fight, that's all, otherwise he wouldn't make such a joke statement as saying Cotto(lol) is better then Mayweather.

I like Cotto and Roach.

But that's a ****** comment. Mayweather is clearly much more skilled and a tougher fight, which even Freddie admitted, so it kinda contradicts that really.

Cotto has become easier to hit over the past year or two imo. Mayweathers still supremely talented in both defence and attack in fairness.
